Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal and its most popular tourist attraction, is spread out over its eponymous valley and encircled by Himalayan mountains. Kathmandu is the gateway to exploring Nepal’s essence. It is home to several ancient temples, golden pagodas, stunning natural scenery, and captivating villages. Kathmandu is located at a height of 4,344 feet and is the meeting point of the Bagmati and Vishnumati rivers. Stunning Indo-Tibetan and Newari handicrafts, UNESCO-listed cultural sites, exquisite food, and superb hiking opportunities to the highest peaks in the world may all be found here.
Every traveler, pilgrim, backpacker, history buff, foodie, and shopaholic will find something special in Kathmandu, from courtyards filled with drying rice and chillies to incense-filled temples, national museums, and modern Nepali art galleries to hobbit-sized workshops, humming bazaars, rickshaws, Momo, Thukpa, and Everest beer.
Pokhara, the ‘Tourist Capital of Nepal’, is the second-largest city, after Kathmandu. Being one of the highest cities at almost 900 mtr. above sea level, it serves as the starting point for several well-known treks. The highlight of the town is its Lakeside, which is a boating paradise flanked with charming shops, dreamy cafés, restaurants and pubs that make up this postcard-perfect town. For thrill seekers, Pokhara is a sought-after starting point for several hikes in the Annapurna Range as well as numerous paragliding and river rafting activities.
Chitwan National Park is the first step that Nepal took towards protection of the wildlife and nature at large. Located in the subtropical inner Terai lowlands of south-central Nepal, the national park covers an area of 952.63 sq. km. over the districts of Nawalparasi, Parsa, Makwanpur and Chitwan itself. The place was granted its long-due status of UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, and ever since its inception 11 years before that, Chitwan National Park has been getting the footfalls of the nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from our company will greet you and wish you a warm welcome to Nepal before driving you to the hotel you’ve reserved. After the check-in process is complete, you can unwind and sleep at the hotel. The evening is free to enjoy Kathmandu at your own accord, you can get some rest and freshen up or familiarize yourself with some good restaurants, ATMs, money changers, and other vital places you might need during your stay.
After breakfast, we will introduce you to your tour guide, who will receive you at your hotel for an interesting tour of the Swayambhunath Stupa, which is perched atop a hill and offers stunning views of Kathmandu, the valley’s lush hills, and tall snow-capped mountains. Pashupati Nath temple oldest temple of lord Shiva which have signification history as well as one of the greatest Hindu temple of lord Shiva. We will be exploring Patan Durbar Square, home to the world’s only Living Deity. We will also visit Buddhanath another world heritage site.
Today you will be received by a driver and will be driving to Pokhara. Upon arrival we will be checking-in in the property reserved. After a short refreshment in the property you will have the rest of the day to yourself during which you can walk around Lakeside or enjoy the nightlife of Pokhara. You can also enjoy boating in Phewa lake (depending on weather).
On our second day in Pokhara we will be spending the whole day sightseeing around Pokhara. Full day sightseeing will incorporate Sarangkot sunrise, Gupteshwor Mahadev cave, Bindabasini temple Davis fall and International Mountain Museum.
Sarangkot is about 45 minutes from Pokhara and situated at 1,600 meters. It is a gorgeous place to overlook the Annapurna Range, Pokhara, and Phewa Lake and is known for its dawn vista. Sarangkot climbs start in the dark so that the top can be reached in time to see the sun rise over the Himalayas, bathing the snow-covered mountains in a warm orange glow.
After our relaxing night at Pokhara we will have breakfast in hotel and will drive to Chitwan. On our way to Chitwan we will be making brief stop for lunch. Upon arrival we will check in the Hotel and get refreshed. To avoid all the hassle and rush, your afternoon you will be free accompanied by cultural show in the evening.
Today you will be enjoying Chitwan, accompanied by a local guide in Chitwan, which will encompass Jeep safari, boating, and more. After the full day of exploration, you will relay in the hotel with a lovely dinner.
Today after having breakfast in the property, you will be driving back to Kathmandu. On your way to Kathmandu, you will be making a brief stop for lunch. Upon arrival at Kathmandu, you will be checked in to the property where you can get refreshed. If you like, then you can go around Thamel and enjoy Thamel at your own accord. To cap off the journey you will be enjoying a lovely dinner with a cultural program.
You’ll be departing for your destination today with a bag full of trinkets and a mind full of priceless memories.
