Today morning you will fly to Rovaniemi
Later Evening- Scan the Arctic skies from one of the best Northern Lights viewing points near Rovaniemi on this 3-hour evening expedition. Travel through the countryside to a secret location on the shores of a lake, made welcoming by a crackling campfire and cozy Finnish tent. Then, watch for the lights aided by tips from an expert local guide. During your vigil, hear fun facts and legends about the lights; savor snacks and berry juice warmed on the fire; and with luck, catch a sighting of this spectacular natural phenomenon.

Rovaniemi is the capital of Lapland in Finland and known as the best Finnish winter resort. The guide will tell you the history of Rovaniemi and show some interesting places in the city. After the sightseeing tour go to the official Hometown of Santa Claus. Meet Santa Claus and witness the magical Arctic Circle cross the Santa Claus Village in Lapland in Finland. Santa Claus spends his time at the Santa Claus Village every day of the year to take care of his mission in life; to enhance the wellbeing of children and the kindness of grown-ups, as well as spreading the message love and goodwill of Christmas Spirit throughout the globe. Rovaniemi is the official home of Santa Claus. The Santa Claus’ Office is located on the Arctic Circle in Santa Claus Village. Visit Santa Claus post office and order the “real” letter from Santa for next Christmas for your friends, children and relatives. Rudolf’s gift factory shop offers the best Christmas gifts shopping. The ceremony of Arctic Circle crossing also takes place in the Santa Claus village. Everyone will receive a personal certificate of this event. There are many souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants in the Santa Claus Village as well.

Your guide will pick up you from the accommodation (only central Hotels and apartments in Rovaniemi). You will visit a reindeer farm and receive detailed familiarization with the life of the reindeer and their daily work and relaxation. You will have the opportunity to pass an exam on handling a reindeer sled and even receive a special “driving license”. Take a seat in the sled and you are off! Getting cold? You can warm yourselves around a bonfire in a nearby hut and enjoy a cup of hot juice. In this traditional Lappish hut you will be “baptized” according to all rules of the North. After your exciting reindeer adventure, you will be taken to a husky farm. Visit the home of these wonderful sled dogs and learn all about them, you can hug and pet the charming and friendly huskies. After safety briefing and instructions, enjoy the excitement of riding a husky-pulled sled. Afterwards, enjoy coffee and sweet hot berry juice spiced with lots of talk about the Huskies and sled dog races in a warm teepee. Then, hop into your coach or minibus for a drop-off back in Rovaniemi, where your tour ends.

Today you will be transferred to Sinetta where you will stay at Arctic Snow Hotel
This spectacularly handsome building is carved each year to be different in appearance. The walls and furniture surfaces of the unique rooms are decorated with ice art and illuminated artwork. The room temperature is 0–5C°, but using the sleeping bags intended for extreme conditions combined with reindeer furs, you can be sure you will stay in warmth and comfort. On the shores of the lake the moonlight, stars and Northern Lights illuminate the silent, Lappish nature. Wake-up service including a hot drink (request also wake up service for the northern lights!) is provided

Today you will be transferred from Sinetta to Rovaniemi Airport on private basis for your flight to Helsinki (Flight on own). Arrive Helsinki and check in at the hotel
