The visit of the Ajanta Caves is scheduled for the entirety of day 2. 30 Buddhist caves carved out of rock make up this UNESCO World Heritage Site. These caverns, which were constructed in two periods, are truly masterpieces of the Buddhist faith. These caves, which house paintings and sculptures, are protected monuments and are maintained by ASI. Hotel stop for the night.
After breakfast, set out to explore Daulatabad Fort, Ellora Caves, and Aurangabad Caves. The Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, were hewn out of the Charanandri hills. There are 12 Buddhist (Caves 1–12), 17 Hindu (Caves 13–29), and 5 Jain (Caves 30–34) caves, all of which belong to three separate religions. The 12 Aurangabad Caverns are man-made Buddhist caves that date to the sixth and seventh centuries. Hotel stop for the night.
